This page explains how soundzonecompany — the controller of the personal data collected on this site, with studios in Istanbul and Kayseri — handles the information you share through this website. We keep it minimal and only collect what we need to reply to you.
What we collect
We only collect personal data when you choose to send it through our booking or contact form: your name, email address, phone number (booking form only), the subject of your enquiry and your message — together with the fact that you gave consent and when. For spam protection our server stores a one-way, salted hash of your IP address (never the raw IP). If — and only if — you accept marketing cookies, the Meta Pixel also collects information about your visit (see Cookies below).
How we use it, and our legal basis
We use this information solely to read and respond to your booking or contact request. The legal basis is your explicit consent, given when you tick the consent box and submit the form. You can withdraw that consent at any time.
Sharing
We do not sell or rent your data. Your message is delivered to our own inbox through our email provider, which processes it only to deliver the message. If you accept marketing cookies, Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. receives data about your visit through the Meta Pixel — the pages you view, your IP address, browser and device details, and a cookie identifier — to measure and improve our ads on Facebook and Instagram. This data may be transferred to, and processed in, countries outside Türkiye and the EU, including the United States. Your form submissions are never sent to Meta.
How long we keep it
We keep your enquiry only as long as needed to handle it and for a reasonable period afterwards for our records, then delete it. You can ask us to delete it sooner at any time.
Cookies
We use a few strictly necessary cookies that need no consent: one remembers your cookie choice, and if a staff member signs in to our admin panel, a secure session cookie keeps them logged in. With your consent only, we also use the Meta Pixel, which sets marketing cookies (such as _fbp, kept for up to 90 days) to measure our advertising — the legal basis is your explicit consent. You can accept or decline in the banner shown on your first visit and change your mind at any time via "Cookie settings" in the footer; we ask again after six months.
Your rights
Under Türkiye's KVKK (Law No. 6698) and, where it applies, the EU GDPR, you can ask us to show you the data we hold about you, correct or delete it, restrict or object to its processing, and withdraw your consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email us at info@soundzonecompany.com and we will respond promptly.
